ENGINE stands for Energy Efficiency in Small and Medium Sized Enterprizes and is an European project funded by Intelligent Energy Europe 2003-2006.
SMEs hardly ever have the resources to systematically examine and exploit energy efficiency optimisations. ENGINE supports SMEs in finding qualified experts who do and assists the basic analysis and steps needed to enter low carbon business.
ENGINE will be implemented by eight project partners in Austria, Germany, Italy, Sweden and the UK. Key results and concepts will be disseminated strongly to new Member States.
